Hello crafters. How are you all?
I'm back again with another project for you. This is a great 2 for 1 - 2 projects made using tolls and materials from 1 sitting. We all love these types of projects, right?!
I'll talk you through it...
Using the 'Paris First Edition Die Set', I cut the sweet Little envelope from both a selection of coloured card and white card many times.
Now, I stamped the sentiment from the Dovecraft Essentials sentiment stamp set. I did this first so I knew exactly what space I had to work with. It would have been frustrating had I adhered all the envelopes only to find I hadn't left enough space for the sentiment!
I used low tack tape to level a straight line across the card to ensure the sentiment would be straight.
I cut down a piece of pastel green card to approx 5mm smaller around each edge then a UK A6 card blank.
To this, from the white die cuts, I adhered just the outline of all of them. I used the low tack tape each time to ensure the envelopes were straight. I tried to keep gaps between each envelope and each line equal.
Now, from the pastel cuts, I reinserted the pieces back onto the envelopes using wet adhesive.
When all envelopes were complete, I trimmed away any overhang.
I now trimmed a piece of card in the same dimensions as the green, as before.
As in step 2, I stamped my sentiment from the same set and in the same manner.
To this panel, I adhered all the coloured envelope outlines in the same manner as step 2. I didn't reintroduce the 'fallout' from these and just left the outlines as were.
Now, all that was left to do was attach each panel to a card blank.
I attached each to a UK A6 white top fold card blank using foam tape.
This completes this 2 for 1 project!
I hope you like it!
Until next time, take care.
Love, Dani xx
