Hi crafter's. How are we all?
It strikes me we make many a card for an occasion - birthday, Christmas etc. But, we don't make many cards to show people just how special/important they are. We need to do this more, don't you agree?
So, in respect of that notion, I made this card to lift ones spirits.
It was a quick and easy made but I'll talk you through it...
I trimmed a piece of pretty paper from the 'Free Spirit 6" Paper Pad down to approx 6mm smaller round each each than a UK A6 card front.
This paper pad is a stunning colour palette and this piece also features just the right amount of glitter!
I mounted this onto a piece of card which complimented said pallette, approximately 2mm larger around each edge.
I adhered these layers to the front of my Plum, top fold card blank using wet adhesive.
In this paper pad are some great sentiment toppers with really uplifting and affirmative phrases. I chose this one and trimmed it out.
Before attaching this to my card, I put down a paper doily using wet adhesive, just above center. Then, I attached my topper using foam tape to the center of this.
To the bottom of this, I attached a small twine bow.
This was simply it!
