Hello crafter's. How are you all?
I'm back with another Christmas Card tutorial for you. It's a super simple card, showing how you can make even the smallest of dies the focus on a card.
Here goes!......
I started by preparing a UK A6 top fold card blank from white Linen card. Then, I cut down a piece of vintage green card approx 4mm smaller round each edge than the card blank. I popped both aside for later.
Now I set to work on my Holly. Using the Holly Die https://drkcrafts.co.uk/products/simply-creative-christmas-dies-holly I cut the Holly multiple times from some green card.
Then, I repeated the process with red card. I popped out the berries and kept them safe in a pot and discarded the Holly leaves. (I recommend using a container for small pieces of die cuts otherwise you can inevitably guarantee some pieces will go walkies!)
TOP TIP: you could also cut the berries from white card and colour them using pens. It makes your card stash go further!
I stuck my Holly leaves to my card panel using wet adhesive. Then, I popped all my red berries back into their respective positions.
I stamped my sentiment from the Dovecraft Little Red Robin and Friends stamp set https://drkcrafts.co.uk/products/dovecraft-little-red-robin-friends-a5-stamp-set and heat embossed it. I snipped it apart so it was in 2 pieces and adhered this in place using wet adhesive.
Finally, I stuck my panel down to my card blank using foam tape.
This is the card complete.
I hope you like it!
Until next time, take care.
Love,
Dani xx
