Hello crafter's! I hope you're all well.
I got to work with the beautiful new Metallic https://drkcrafts.co.uk and Foiled https://drkcrafts.co.uk 6in paper pads from First Edition, available at DRK Crafts. I loooove a bit of metallic and glitter in my projects. Just the right amount makes them look very classy. I was able to incorporate a selection of papers from the Metallic Pad and the White Foiled pad and still keep it classy. This white Foiled paper pad is also available in black https://drkcrafts.co.uk which gives more scope for male cards. I'll talk you through what I did with this card.
I started by cutting a sheet from the white foiled Paper pad down to just smaller than a UK A6 card blank and stuck this down to a blush card blank to compliment the rose gold veins in the paper, using foam tape.
From the Metallic paper pad, I cut a piece of the rose gold glitter paper approx 1.5in wide and the same length as the foiled paper already adhered to my card blank. This glitter paper is stunning and even better, it's non shedding so no mess!
From the same paper pad again, I cut 2 'slithers' of the Rose Gold brushed metallic paper in the same length as the 2 previous steps.
I stuck these slithers to either side of my glitter panel using wet adhesive and stuck this to my card, off center.
Now, I simply die cut and stamped a sentiment using the brushed metallic Rose Gold card as used before.
This finishes the card!
The sentiment can be changed to suit most occasions, and the colours changed for a masculine card.
I hope to see you again soon. Until then, take care.
Love, Dani xx
