Hello crafter's! How is everyone?

I have a new card tutorial for you. I suspect this will be the last card from me before the big day. Eeekkk!! I can hardly believe we're here already?!

I'll talk you through it...

First things first, I cut 2 circles from the Artic Christmas 12" paper pad. Any patterned paper would work great for this. Paper pads generally coordinate throughout so there's no thinking involved about what patterns and colours work we'll together!

I manually cut 2 parts for the baubles for which the baubles to hang from. I simply cut 2 squares and rounded the 2 top corners with scissors, then attached to each circle with wet adhesive to complete the bauble. You might already have a bauble die in your stash which I'm sure would make this fairly quicker and simpler (although this was very straightforward)

(also, I have just realised I didn't actually put a hole in these elements so these baubles certainly won't be hanging from any trees this Christmas!)

Now, I prepped my card pieces.

I cut a piece of cream card down to create a top fold UK A6 card blank. I also cut a different shade of cream card down to approximately 4mm smaller than the card front.

I watered down some black paint and using a fan brush, I splatted the paint over my card panel.

I cut a leafy Foliage from white card and snipped it into 2 parts.

Now, I constructed the card.

I adhered the card panel to my card blank using wet adhesive.

I attached the first bauble using 1mm foam pads.

I attached the Foliage to the top and base of this using wet adhesive, then, attached the second bauble using 2mm foam pads.

Finally, I attached a premade sentiment using wet adhesive.

This is the card complete!

Until next time, take care.

Love, Dani xx
