Hello again crafter's. Are we all well?
I'm back with you today sharing a project using a method similar to my previous card, whereby I overlayed some pretty patterned card with a decorative die.
I'll be showing you how to make this card.
I started by cutting down some white card into a top fold US A2 size (4.25in x 5.5in).
I trimmed a piece of the pretty paper from the
'Oh So Sweet First Edition 12in paper pad' to fit the face of the card. This particular design has a beautiful pearlescent finish. I adhered this to my card blank using wet adhesive.
I then went ahead and cut my cover plate die from black card. I adhered this using wet adhesive over my patterned paper.
TOP TIP: Always establish whether 'waste' from your die cutting can be used for another project. In this case, I saved the hearts in a small jiffy bag.
I finished the card by heat embossing in white the sentiment from the 'Dovecraft Essentials Stamp Set - General' I attached this to my card using foam tape.
This is the card complete!
I hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
Until next time, take care.
Love, Dani xx
