Hello crafter's. How is everyone?
Today, I have a card perfect for those amongst us off on their travels. Sadly, this will never be me. I have a fear of flying (I actually managed it twice in my life to New York and don't know how I ever did it!) plus honestly, I think we have so many beautiful places in this country, I'm quite happy to stay put! Anyway, I digress...
I made this super easy card using the First Edition 12x12 Bon Voyage paper pad this pad is packed full of travel themed papers.
I prepped a top fold UK A6 white card blank. Onto this, I layed my background layer. I trimmed the sheet to approx 4mm smaller round each side than the card blank. I adhered this using wet adhesive.
There's a sheet within this paper pad made up of boarding pass type images. I cut 2 of these away from the pad. Then, I rounded the edges using a corner punch.
I made a small bow from black twine and placed together with the boarding passes, then secured all elements together with a miniature wooden peg. I flipped these over and placed some foam tape on the back. I attached this culmination to my card.
I stamped my sentiments from the Dovecraft essentials General stamp set another piece of patterned paper from the pad used in previous steps and trimmed these down.
I adhered these to the card to finish using foam tape.
That completes the card!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Until next time, take care.
Love, Dani xx
